Joseph Cilio spent 19 years helping to build his family’s retail, manufacturing, wholesale and import business before he recognized a void in the marketplace. Joseph realized that the independent retailer was missing a trusted source who understood their needs and could extend purchasing options and a wide variety of products that would fit their specific store. Joseph’s idea moved from concept to reality, and in 2004, his brother Anthony Cilio joined the team.
Alfresco Home began with a focus on garden accessories: bistros, tabletop fountains, plant stands. Built on the Cilio reputation for intuitive, classic design and old world hospitality, Alfresco Home happily found its niche in the quickly expanding outdoor living industry.
Since then, Alfresco Home has added experienced industry professionals, creative minds, talented designers and hard-working service personnel to our team. We have greatly expanded our casual furniture and garden accent lines, as well as our garden accessories selection. We have integrated all sales, design, product development, warehousing, logistics and customer service activity under one 80,000 square foot roof just outside Philadelphia, PA.
