Our free seminars are hosted in Chalet's Education Center. In the 10+ years since Horticulture Information Specialist Jennifer Brennan started the program we've hosted over 1000 seminars reaching over 5,000 attendees. Seminars are given by Jennifer Brennan unless otherwise noted. If you find that you cannot attend one or missed one, don’t worry, you can rent a video or DVD for $3.
Our seminars can even be used for credits towards Illinois Master Gardener certification.
In a typical workshop Jennifer provides an overview, demonstrates how to make the finished product and assists you with your project. A small materials fee and pre-registration is required for workshops.

This is a fun planter that allows you to plant lilies for mid-season glamour in the garden. The "instant gratification" comes from the spring annuals and forced bulbs that dress up the top of the lily pot. Enjoy the beautiful spring display of pansies, daffodils, hyacinths, Johnny Jump-ups and ivy while the lilies are rooting. You get two seasons of enjoyment from this workshop.
Pre-registration and $60 workshop fee is required. Call 847-256-0561 ext 230.
