AVAILABLE POSITIONS

SALES ASSOCIATE - GLASSHOUSE: WILMETTE RETAIL STORE

Our Glasshouse, which features custom-designed pots and baskets and indoor plants including tropicals, flowering pot plants, succulents, bonsai and topiaries, has an opportunity for a full-time year-round sales position. Responsibilites include: greeting customers, helping them with their selections, answering plant care questions, assisting in the pricing and stocking of plants, watering and maintaining stock. Creating and designing ready-to-sell custom containers is an important aspect of this position. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, indoor plant knowledge, and a strong creative flair with the ability to create beautiful containers. Experience or education in floral design or horticulture is a plus. The position requires being able to stand for the entire shift, lifting 50 pounds and working one weekend day in addition to 3 to 4 weekdays. Qualified candidates will show previous design work and/or pass a design skills assessment.
