DELIVERY DRIVER: WILMETTE RETAIL STORE

We invite you to apply for our Delivery Driver position. This person will deliver heavy items like trees, shrubs, concrete statuary, bagged stone, firewood., etc.; as well as specialty and fragile items like plant arrangements and gifts from our store to our customers' homes. It is key for the person in this position to have strong customer service skills as they represent all of Chalet. Our Delivery Driver picks up product at local vendors for delivery to our store and makes deliveries to our affiliated location in North Chicago. Monetary transactions are not a responsibility of this position as purchases are made directly at our retail store. When deliveries are slow, there will be other duties assigned by the Store Manager which could include boxing firewood, relocating inventory in the store or related tasks.

We are looking for a friendly, trustworthy, independent employee who posesses the following qualifications:

* Outstanding customer service skills
* A valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not necessary), and be medically qualified to drive a F450 Super Duty vehicle
* The ability to lift 75+ pounds. Forklift experience a plus.
* Basic computer and math abilities with a high school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to work full-time, year-round, 5 day work week which includes both Saturday and Sunday. The work week will expand to 6 days a week in our busy seasons (spring and Christmas).
