Should I cut back my big mop head hydrangeas now?

The dried hydrangea flower is a favorite winter garden plant. Combining with other plants with winter interest, such as boxwood and redtwig dogwood, can create true beauty in the winter yard. Trim them on that first really nice spring day, when you're itching to get back into the garden.
