What shrubs grow well in shade?

Here are some that perform quite well in less than 3 hours of sun: Alpine Currant, Compact Cranberrybush Viburnum,  Blackhaw Viburnum, Gray Dogwood, Hydrangea, Japanese Kerria, Bottlebush Buckeye, Witchhazel and Corneliancherry Dogwood.
